Certified Hosting came to be..
I founded Certified Hosting with
my husband Stan in 1999, based on the premise that people deserve
a rock solid hosting infrastructure with control in their hands
at a great price and with dedicated customer service for their
every need.
With this goal in mind, we started
out with one single co-located server in a data center in Ohio.
Working from our spare bedroom converted into an office, I would
make the contacts and Stan would administer the server. At the
time, Stan was a Unix guru working for Motorola. Together we built
our business server by server and by building lasting relationships
with our customers.
Rock solid hosting infrastructure
In our quest to provide the best hardware and network environment
at a competitive price, we added servers, converted them from
tower to rack mount servers, switched data centers (with NO downtime!)
from Ohio to Atlanta in order to provide 24x7 network monitoring,
and negotiated for higher quality bandwidth at more competitive
prices (that led to hosting discounts for you). Our most recent
expansion to an additional data center in Phoenix gives you greater
redundancy and disaster control. And with so many great servers
with high bandwidth, we spread the savings to you.
